(This was all present on Wikipedia around 8:40 or so PM ;), including the text "On July 19, 2005, Roberts was nominated by President George W. Bush to replace Sandra Day O'Connor as an Associate Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court".)
I guess I will do my best to reserve judgement on the potential judge until we know more about him. His Wikipedia detailed decisions are not really that surprising nor alarming on the surface (not that I agree or disagree, just not surprising) with one HUMONGOUS GIGANTIC HULKING exception. Roberts has argued Roe was wrong and should be overturned (but maybe that was what he was arguing for a client and not his own views? - even so another question mark?).
Now if this guy really is an anti-Roe person then regardless of his views being right or wrong or such I have to say, way to go in nominating someone from "middle ground" and not starting a enormous (and justifiable/rightful? - what could give the Democrats more ammunition?) nomination shitstorm Mr. President, huzzah. (Thats sarcasm Mr. President.)
Here comes the battle, lets sum it up now and get all the nonsense overwith:
