Technology companies cut nearly 60,000 U.S. jobs in the first three months of the year, twice the number trimmed in the same period last year and the biggest loss of jobs in the sector since late 2003, according to a new report.

The telecommunications industry accounted for the bulk of the cuts, with more than 35,000 layoffs in the first quarter, said outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, which issued the report Monday. The computer industry laid off about 16,100 workers.

I have actually found it to be pretty good lately. I have a job and have had several other offers recently, and I have helped several friends get gigs. Seems pretty robust right now to me, and yes its been my impression that its getting better.

Yo, in my plan B, 'B' is for 'biatches'. I've been recruitin' hos and biatches, cuz I figure that hos have been around forevuh, ya know whut I'm saying? Job security, yo. My research indicates that the market for hos has decreased by 12% in the last quarter alone! In fact, the National Bureau of Bitches and Hos Statistics puts the Skank-Up Broke Ho index at just over 6%. Given that the number of Non-Crack Ho Positions has to rise by 150,000 each month just to keep up with baby-daddying, I think things aren't going to get better soon.
