C&L has a great video of Shepard Smith and Geraldo live from NO on Hannity and Colmes. Geraldo starts crying...kind of an amazing moment of cutting through the bullshit for Fox News.

I havent watched the Geraldo piece, that said I will judge anyway ;), I dont believe for a second any tears he "cries" are genuine, cant stand that jackass. Years of manufactured bullshit makes anything he does very suspect.

The last goddamn thing NOLA needs right now is Geraldo. We should start a fund to get him the hell out of there, that would be the first step.

Well it could be fake tears, and yes Geraldo is a freak, but fake or not I think you could tell it wasn't planned, becase Hannity seemed uncomfortable with how blunt him and Shep Smith were being.

Speaking of news reporting though, gotta hand it to Anderson Cooper. There are some good videos on C&L of him taking to task Trent Lott and Kathleen Blanco. CNN seems to step up when there is a big story, and Anderson Cooper is down there in the midst of it all.

I watched some of Anderson with Lott, gotta concur, it wasnt that "hard hitting" but he did take Lott to task on a few things.

I just couldnt believe the other day though when Bush mentioned all the losses Lott has had, and chuckled a bit. I mean I honestly maybe Trent Lott has lost some property, maybe his summer house, or even his boyhood house, or his part time mansion, but there are people that reallty have lost everything, just seemed like a poor thing to bring up.
