That is an interesting development of the whole situation. And I dont mean to belittle the actual losses people suffered in the storm here at all, but is less congressional representation for Louisiana really a *bad* thing overall?

I mean its tangential but for example is less of that spirit of cultural diversity, fiscal responsibility, fine planning and rigorous ethics that we have seen from Huey Long, David Duke and Trent Lott really a bad thing? (Man if only we could get less influence for Mississippi and Alabama also - hell for that Matter Georgia and Tennessee too!)
