I would agree with that on most levels. I listen to podcasts mainly, and my music, on the iPod.
However, the net radio stations are one of those ways you can discover new music (or new other stuff). And they can get you to a genre, station, that doesn't suck like the locals.
Totally agreed about the RIAA. Hopefully this will be just another nail in the coffin, hopefully more independent content will fill any vacuum this creates and such stations go that direction. We should all learn, content providers and consumers, demand they stop all these stupid ass restrictions on both sides.
