Mozilla rolls out "The Coop" - social networking in Firefox

The Coop allows FF users to share links, photos, blog posts, videos, tags and so on. And it allows users to share their activities with other users in the whole new Web 2.5 meme.

The implementation is still a prototype, but the concept is what matters. Once you get a set of core friends that you want to share "cool stuff" with, this could be very interesting. Not really in the whole "I have 2546 friends" MySpace type noise manner, or plain stupidity like Twitter, but with a core set of respected and interesting folks this could replace several other current social networking methods - and actually be worthwhile.
