Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

On 9/21 I called for service on my dryer purchased at Best Buy. I was busy on mon. 9/24, (my bad, sorry I had a previous apt. that couldn't be broken) so I made my apt. for wed.9/26. When I made my apt. I was very specific as to what was wrong with the dryer as well as make & model of appliance.
On wed. Chris (repairman) looked at dryer, told me what was wrong with dryer, went out to van and came back & said that the part would have to be ordered. I aked how long that would take, his response was 3-4 days shipping after the part was ordered. So I am looking at mon 10/1 being soonest fix date. Yeah right, when pigs fly! So I called the 188 best buy# to make another apt. for mon., Karen service apt. setter said "no can due, the part has to be ordered and received before you can make another service apt." karen also said that someone would contact me within the next 24hrs to let me know that the part was ordered. At 7:20pm the next day I called them back after not hearing form anyone. In my discusion with Dawn, the person I contaced to see if part was ordered as promised, I related my distress in not having a dryer for a minium of 10 days and her response was" that Besy Buy doesn't consider any applaince an emergency with the excepition of a refrigerator"! I don't know about anyone else but my dryer is pretty damn important to the process of doing my laundry. To top it off the repairman said that he alone repairs 30 dryers a month with this exact part problem and that after he gets the part the repair will take 10 minutes!!! Someone please just shoot me! The horror just keep coming with Best Buys service!
