God bless you please Mr. Robertson

First, my sincere sympathy to anyone who was affected by the recent spat of storms across the southern US. I would never belittle such a tradgedy.

Yet, I have to wonder if the irony is lost on everyone else, is it just me? On the same day that Huckabee actually *won* primary elections in Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, etc, god chose to smote those people with a tornado. At least, that is the logic Pat Robertson trots out when things DON'T go his way, shouldn't the logic (if you can even call it that) hold for any event, not just the homos is New Orleans and evolution-believing blasphemers in Dover?

That, and though I have been trying to avoid political diatribes on the penguin, you really have to wonder about a country in which Mike Huckabee could *ever win any elected office or race*. Not a proud day for my home state (GA) or the rest of the southern bunch.

"Social" conservatives like him, yes, but let's face reality for a moment, shall we? This is a man who has no concept of science or technology, or personal freedom, and who also has a profound ignorance of the basis government and morality itself - not exactly qualifications for a legislator, governor, president, or hell city clerk.

I am sorry but this country is completely fucked up if Huckabee even gets a single vote, much less wins even a primary in any state for the office of President of the United States.
