IBM has made another open source software stride. The release of the IBM "Journaled File System" via the GNU General Public License.I am not very familiar with this exact product but it is a significant release for enterprise class systems on Linux. I dont know if this is a brand of AFS or a completely seperate project but it is the same idea.
