IBM Cluster Solution for NT

Check this IBM NT Cluster News Story. IBM working with Microsoft will announce technology that allows up to 8 NT servers to be clustered in a failsafe configuration (Microsofts cluster solution MSCS can only do two.) Pretty cool if you need that technology (and alot of us do, NT has a large production commercial and enterprise market share.) Mini-RANT . . .explanationNT and many Microsoft products get bashed often at TOTSP. I want to make it clear that I dont dislike anything just because it is Microsoft. In fact I like many Microsoft products and NT, I dont think it is the best in many situations, but I do like it and use it. Things I do not like include underhanded businees tactics, way too expensive software, restrictive licensing, software that doesnt work or perform as presented, excessive bugs or exploits and on and on . . . This is what puts Microsoft in the spotlight not a personal distaste of Redmond. Microsoft has many good products and they have done a great job with their business. If I ever feel dissapointed or slighted for any reason by ANY product, I will bash it, Microsoft or not. And if you have been tuned to TOTSP for any length of time you will know that along with bashing deserving products, we praise what is exceptional, it goes both ways based on merit. So if the bashing theme seems to be Microsoft often, it is simply just and well deserved.
