SuSE Labs: For the Advancement of Open Source

http://www.SuSE.de">SuSE has announced the creation of SuSE Labs, a project to "support long term Linux projects of technological importance." Very sweet deal for us, everyday users, better stuff results. For now the projects include KDE, Xfree86, ISDN4Linux, ALSA and Kernel development. All great stuff.Just for the record, SuSE rocks, I use their distro on my laptop and although I have only used SuSE for a few months I am very impressed. SuSE is actually easier to install than RedHat (which is pretty darn easy itself.) I am working on a thinkpad HOWTO for TOTSP using SuSE, I hope to post it soon, just basic stuff, setup, networking, printing and Xwindows.
