Users who have NEVER installed Office 2000, beta or not are getting rogue error messages that the beta is "about to expire." Nice touch Microsoft. Apparently some components of IE5 have caused this message even on machines that have never seen Office2K. As if that isnt enough new exploits for IE5 already abound. Just look around a little if you need some.I have also had some serious problems (locking up, rebooting on its own) with the "release candidate" version of Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Seems to be a theme to me. market the hell out of it, make it look fancy and shiny, and who cares whether or not it works!
