Yes! Check out the jakarta project. An open source webserver as great as Apache and open source JSP (Java Server Pages) and Java Servelets (Jserv.) Engineers from Sun, IBM and others are working to make Apache not only the premier webserver, but the premier web java platform as well.While PHP rocks, some people insist JSP is the only way to go (my brother included.) TOTSP is investigating JSP and Jakarta will make that happen.Much thanks to the corporations involved and to all the gurus who make it happen. Open Source webserver, with java, lookout!
