Well Windows 2000 is around the corner, but many industry folks are warning about taking the step. Look every way before you go around the corner, that seems to be the theme.IBM recently came out warning about serious problems with Windows 2000. The IBM research team warns that Windows 2000 Active Directory does not synch with other industry standard protocols, such as Lightweight Direcory Access Protocol (LDAP).Of course Microsoft denies the problems, but have we seen the proprietary technologies become headaches or failures before, how about NetBIOS, WINS, or even BOB!
