Suns purchase, revamp and free release (although not open source, shrug) of StarOffice is a huge hit. StarOffice is a great app and is compatible with other office suites (even those big commercial ones that cost tons of money.)Check it out and download your copy now!Also, pay attention, its 1999, dont pay for an Office Suite or a dial up ISP. You can get em both for free, keep your money and make the companies adapt to the market. If you pay for something make sure it is a premium service and not something you can get elsewhere for free.
