Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

AMD now holds the record for the fastest X86 processor in the world (today mind you, this may change tomorrow.) The Athlon 700MHz CPU was recently announced. Wow! Now take into account Moores law and in a mere 3 years we will be seeing the 2.1GHz CPU! Man, imagine that and all in a single generation. You remeber that 8088 you had back in the day, it was phat! That thing had 2 five and a quarter inch floppy drives (yeah two) and if you were really a badass maybe you had one of those 10mb hard drives that weighed ten pounds and even had vibration dampers. Ok so I am showing my age, but we have certainly come a long way in the 15 or so years I have been using PCs.
