This is a press release direct from Omnis-Software. I am not quite sure if equating something to "Visual Basic-Like" is a good idea, but all kidding aside, this product sounds promising. This is seemingly a Rapid-App-Development (RAD) application for developing web apps that integrates with DB2 (and other DBs?) on Linux. Could be quite cool.
