Corel on the Move

Corel is making some bold moves and some big waves. Corel has recently announced a merger-aquisition with Borland-Inprise and they are now talking about an alliance with Intel to sell Linux PCs.
Recent times have seen an entire new lineup of Corel Linux products arrive including their own distro. Combine that with new releases of the flagship products Corel Office, WordPerfect and Corel Draw, and I think (hope) we have a serious competitor for the desktop.
With a Linux distro OS and several key Linux application suites, Corel is brandishing the weapons of a complete desktop alternative package. Corel has basucally bet the farm on Linux and I for one think it will eventually pay off big time.
Keep an eye on this insightful company (and keep in mind with the recent instability in the market, the stock is cheap today, about $15 right now!.) Corel
