Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

Macromedia Flash rocks. This stuff is great and it is on my list to learn. I admittedly dont know much about it now, but hopefully the opening up of the flash player code and the announcement of a Flash Software Developers Kit (SDK) may help us all out, myself included. This will open up the door for other flash development platforms to emerge, rather than just the macromedia product. Its still macromedia flash when you are done, but more development access will help.

Check the link for details on the SDK and the opening up of the player. I dont believe the SDK is available yet (it was just announced) but it will be around soon.
