ArgoUML is a free and open source UML tool. UML (the undified modeling language) can be used for modeling many object oriented design principles. ArgoUML is used for data and class diagrams and can be used in project management. It is even capable of creating source code (empty classes and definitions) from the visual diagrams. Very cool stuff and more bravo for open source.
