OK, I confess, as if it isnt obvious, I am a HUGE PHP fan. While I am also a burgeoning java programmer and have used many other technologies, PHP is in my opinion unbeatable for its combination of cost, speed, ease of use, felxibility and power. Devshed has a small tutorial series on PHP that is written in a very cheesy storyline, but actually has some good points and examples.
