A new compressed air zero emission vehicle is due to debut this week at a South Africa auto show. This vehicle is called the e.Volution and it used compressed air to power a cylinder type engine.
The car can reportedly run for many hours at reasonable speeds and costs about US0.030 per day to operate. Wow, very cool stuff.
This is good any way you look at it. Another alternative to fossil fuels, be it fuel cells, electric, hybrid or now air, the world is beyond ready for viable alternative transportion methods. This is overdue, but still very welcome (and the "long term" approach to energy respources is definitely the better approach.)
