Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

I had not seen this consolidated Oreilly "Security Alert" weekly exploit list before. I like it. Very quick, to the point and comprehensive coverage of the exploits of the week. Of course I do also keep an eye on SecurityFocus, but this is much more concise and therefore quick. While it is not a replacement for more comprehensive security information it is a good start.

This weeks exploits are fairly substantial. A Websphere serious security problem that is a potential root (and all other accounts) exploit, a Shockwave Flash issue that allows a malicious site operator to execute arbitrary code on virtually any machine equipped with the player an emacs issue and several others

Check the list, bookmark it, its good stuff to know.
