JBOSS Open Source J2EE App Server

JBOSS is sweet. It is an open source J2EE app server loaded with functionality. I have not yet personally used it, but if it helps, Jason says it is cool as hell!

Of course there is also the Enhydra stuff as for open source java app servers, which I have used (a little, just setup and quick test, mucking around really) but according to Jason JBOSS is better.

If you like JBOSS, take a look at JOnAS. It is the backbone of enhydra. I have used JOnAS and it was pretty sweet. Check it at [url=http://www.evidian.com/jonas/]http://www.evidian.com/jonas/[/url]

When I was looking at open source app servers a few months ago, JOnAS seemed to be a little bit ahead of JBOSS in maturity and functionality.
