Screaming Penguin

Slashdot has a story about another story so I thought I would post a story about the story about the story. Seriously, thanks to /. for the lead, but check this out, there is an effort to port python to the palm (say that 5 times fast!) Python rocks, its a very capable and elegant interpreted scripting language (that I prefer over perl and others.) Check out the palm rev here: pippy. Yeah yeah yeah, I would prefer not to use PalmOS at all, but based on the prevalence its good that things like Java and Python will be avialable on the platform. The real solution (admittedly hopeful), use Linux in and the embedded and handhelds!   python
