Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

Internet.com has a story today about the woes of Webvan (linked.) Webvan has some real problems, stock in jeopardy of being delisted, still losing money, being sued by Amazon, but all in all it is still a fighting company.

I am not being unrealistic when I say that Webvan could still make it (and what a bargain at a $.12 stock price.) Optimistic maybe, but survival for Webvan is still a possibility. The company still has a real business model that I believe can work, its just ahead of its time. If Webvan can get some cash (very big if) and hold on they are nearing profitability and even expanding services in many markets.

Being delisted could certainly kill the stock trading, but so what, what good is being listed doing them, its 12 cents for goodness sake, what could be worse! Webvan needs to stay focused, get some lifesupport cash and ride out the storm. The outlook is not great, but its not over yet either.
