Terrorists worked at Microsoft and placed backdoors in XP?: slashdot

There is a story floating around that al Qaeda members may have worked at Micrososft and placed backdoors and trojans in XP.

This is pretty weird. This story may be a hoax but as slashdot points out it has shown up at the Washington Post (not that that makes it true, but its not exactly segfault either.)

The bottom line, so what. Surely somewhere along the line some programmer has put in an easter egg or backdoor in windows. Terrorist or not. So what are they going to do with it? No important or critical computing operations relating to any type of security anywhere are run on XP, or any other windows, hopefully.

At any rate, interesting, see the linked /. story for more info.   Terrorists worked at Microsoft and placed backdoors in XP?: slashdot
