More Hilarious Blunders surround Microsoft 'We Have the Way Out' Site

This story has taken a few twists over the last few days, all of this so damn funny it is incredible. If you havent heard yet, heres the short version.
  • Microsoft and Unisys come up with brilliant new ad campaign to get companies to go with Microsoft over Unix.
  • Microsoft and Unisys claim Unix is complicated and inflexible. Microsoft and Unisys claim Windows is better.
  • Microsoft and Unisys spend tons on advertising and launch new highly publicized website "wehavethewayout.com."
  • wehavethewayout.com is working great for a few days, but it RUNS UNIX!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
  • Microsoft and Unisys take website down to switch it to IIS on Windows2k.
  • A bunch of ports are left open on Windows2K, script kiddies take the site down! HAHAHAHAHAHA.
  • Microsoft and Unisys close the ports and once again patch up the site but the single form that it uses is all Javascript based and therefore does not work in many browsers and or configurations (ie with Javascript disabled, etc.) HAHAHAHAHHA!
  • Microsoft and Unisys unequivocally prove how crappy Windows is and what technical morons they are.
This entire episode is such a great representation of why Windows and IIS and Microsoft is NOT a good idea that is hilarious. The irony is unbelievable. For the record: Unix is not difficult and inflexible as they claim, quite the contrary. It does require some basic knowledge, but its not difficult and as for the flexibility, dont get me started. (Microsoft even uses BIND, BSD IP stack, etc, etc, etc IN THEIR WINDOWS PRODUCTS, yet it is Unix that is inflexible? Unix is by its very definition a system that is open and comprised of standards that interact.) When it comes to security and reliability there is not even a playing field to have a contest on, much less a contest. Windows is insecure and unstable, Microsoft has proven it time and time again, including the great illumination they have provided with this little debacle of an ad campaign.
