The recent stance by the US administration and congress to ban human cloning is ill advised and "irrelevant." The irrelevant part is because this is not something that will be stopped. The research derived from embryos is too important, the work will go on. All this ban will do is move more research and business out of the US. I have made this statement of fact several times over the last year as this issue has been debated, others, it seems, agree.
