SuSE 8.0: CW360

Yep, SuSE 8.0 is out and as always is apparently a VERY good distro. I used to use SuSE in the 5x and 6x days almost entirely and was generally very impressed (long story, but speaking German became an issue and although it was technically my favorite distro I switched for compatibility reasons.)

The new revs apparently are much improved (even over the previous very good) and include some of the easiest and best installs (YaST) and best functionality. On the server side SuSE definitely has some of the best options such as the enterprise groupware and mail servers, etc.

I havent checked out 8.0 personally yet, but all the reviews are very positive and it comes with KDE 3, OpenOffice, kernel 2.4.18, etc. SuSE is a solid distro and deserves consideration. For more info check out the links.   SuSE Linux launches version 8.0
