Disney Studios has annouced that all servers in the render farm AND animator desktops will be Linux in the future. Makes sense, more power, more stability, less price.

Disney joins the other big animation firms that have already switched. These include Dreamworks SKG, Pixar, Industrial Light and Magic and more.
