GA congressman makes personal contribution to airline safety: USAToday

I always knew GA was well represented by intellegent people in Congress. Sanford Bishop just had a bad day, right? Check his links, he sends his "warmest personal regards."

Re: GA congressman makes personal contribution to airline safet

Hahahaha!!!!!!!!

I finally realized why they have such a regulation at Regan National this summer. I am living up in DC and on my way in to work on I-395, I look to my right and see Regan National, look to my left and see the Pentagon, and look straight ahead and see downtown Washington DC...the 30 minute rule all of a sudden makes sense.

Re: GA congressman makes personal contribution to airline safet

yeah, i never thought of it like that, that right in the middle of it view does help the perspective.

are you working for the military now? sounds like a cool summer job, assuming that is still the deal?

Re: GA congressman makes personal contribution to airline safet

yea, it really puts it in perspective when you think a plane on approach to Regan can get diverted and fly into just about any federal building in all of 30 seconds...

Yea, I work for the good ol' Navy...its only a co-op though, so that means I'll be back to school in the fall...and yes it is pretty cool.

Re: GA congressman makes personal contribution to airline safet

Lucky. Two things I'd like to work for just on cool toy-factor alone. the Gov't and Microsoft. Bash either one all you want, that is where the cool @!#$ is happening.

Re: GA congressman makes personal contribution to airline safet

Ok, I give you some government cool stuff, but I disagree with the MS one. No bashing needed, just disagree, I dont see anything exciting coming out of there at all. .net and web services and all that crap included. Thats not new stuff, thats Microsofts version.
