Wow. NetLoony looks very full featured and very cool. I have not tried it out yet (personally I use emacs to configure apache, and netstat to monitor performance) but this is still a very promising and NEEDED tool.
Apache configuration mystifies some, especially inexperienced users. There are of course a few GUI apache tools but NetLoony appears to have more features than most. NetLoony also apparently "was" commercial and is now being released GPL.
NetLoony includes:
- Performance monitor
- Configuration Audit
- Remote control/admin
- Build tool & support for 3rd party module builds
- Supports SSL
- Reacts to modules installed
- htaccess file finder
- Built-in text editor
- Enforcement of directive rules & syntax
- Help function and Apache docs viewer
- Service/Port Scanner
- Configuration backup/restore
- Updatable via email
