Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

Many states and municipalities have anti spam laws. Many spam "crusaders" as they are being called are using these laws to take spammers to court to stop them. The crusaders are finding many difficulties in court (such as losing judgments in some cases and having to pay court costs) but are still fighting the good fight. Even when judgments are won, rarely if ever is the judgment paid. I applaud the efforts of these people and I reiterate that we need anti-spam legislation on a national level. Spam is a problem, spam wastes time, money, energy, etc. Spam should be legislated against in the same type way that junk faxes are.
