In what is being called one of the largest identity theft busts ever, the feds have arrested three men charged with selling credit and credit card information. It all started with a guy at the help desk at TCI credit, a company that provides software to credit reporting companies. From there others are involved and information was sold.
Credit reporting companies and all of those involved in that industry SUCK ASS. Did they have adequate protective measures in place? I say because overall credit reporting as we know it is a flawed and stupid system that does NOT protect the consumer in any way and yet it is really the consumers information that is the commodity. Mini rant over.
