Opera 7 is a rewrite of Opera from the ground up to make it smaller and faster. The final of the Windows rev is now out and Linux should be along soon (Linux rev 7 still in beta)? Opera still requires an annoying add banner space if you dont buy it (the only drawback, but its only USD 39 and thats worth it for a great fast browser, uh, unless you know how to spell Mozilla).
For more see the linked press release. Faster, smaller, smarter: Opera 7

Re: Opera 7 for Windows Released
i have winders at work and am checking out opera windows 7 now. its really really cool. it has a "dont allow popups" option in prefs, does the tabbed browsing still, the UI is great and its very fast.
it does make screaming-penguin all center justified? same as IE6 does. what the hell is up with that. i thought it was an IE6 problem, guess its not. the css validates? i will look into it.
Re: Opera 7 for Windows Released
uh, yeah it was me, there is no align in the css currently and older browsers must default to left. newer to center. simple text-align fixes it. sorry.
Re: Opera 7 for Windows Released
Hah! Validated! "It's IE's fault" my ass. Of course, I don't much browse with IE anymore, but still...
Re: Opera 7 for Windows Released
IE still gets some blame, no I cant justify their blame in any way, so what, I still assign 19% blame to IE.
