Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

AOL and Microsoft both have huge ad campaigns right now about fighting spam. Microsoft of course has the june bug/boll weevil/moth/whatever thing and he fights "junk mail" in his tights. AOL also purports new spam blocking features but without an insect of any kind.

Now dont get me wrong I am happy that major ISPs at least SAY they are fighting spam but it is just me or does half of the spam on planet earth come from hotmail and aol email accounts (not just forged headers either, actually FROM there, hotmail especially). This seems to have gotten better lately but lets be honest these guys have allowed spam on their networks for years, they have even used it in the past.

Whats next, AOL and Microsoft blocking "pop ups"? !?
