"Potential For Significant Impact On Internet Operations Due To Vulnerability In Microsoft Operating Systems"

There are several new "fatal" flaws in "virtually all" Windows software and that fact in combination with an increase of "hackers scanning the Internet to find vulnerable computers" has led the government to issue a warning about a "massive" attack on the horizon.

Microsoft has issued a patch for its known issues but most "experts" feel that there has not been enough time for people or companies to apply the patch on most machines.

The Homeland Security Departments declaration about the issue is: "Potential For Significant Impact On Internet Operations Due To Vulnerability In Microsoft Operating Systems".
