Microsoft puts a "bounty" on the heads of virus writers: CNN

Microsoft has a new 5 million dollar "bounty" and "reward" program for information leading to the apprehension of virus writers. They have specifically mentioned "Blaster worm and SoBig.F" as the first with prices on their heads. I dont know if this will help overall or not, but my take would be give people 5 bucks not to use Outlook and that would pretty much eliminate this "virus" strain. Or maybe spend the 5 million on disabling scripting and HTML email in Outlook and use it for lets see EMAIL!, or . . . this list goes on.
