Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

Wow. Ralph Nader has decided that he will run for President as an Independent (not Green Party). I think Bush has a good chance of getting re-elected whether or not Nader enters the Race against Bush and ANY Democrat.

Yet I must admit that its pretty silly and somewhat ignorant of Nader to throw his hat back in the ring when he denounces Bush so much. Lets face it, Nader is the reason Bush is the President. When Nader ran as a Green in 2000 he got thousands of votes in Florida where the president "won" by 500 hundred or so. He also got thousands of votes in other key states that went very narrowly to Bush (more narrowly than the margin of his own votes). So basically he is the guy that made the W presidency possible and he knows that his presence in the 2004 election certainly stands absolutely no shot of actually winning yet will detract from any Democratic candidate. Way to go Nader, you stick to those ideals and win neither the battle OR the war.
