Imagine a world where your software repository and versioning system allows you to remove directories, rename files or directories, and in general do logical stuff that you assumed you could do when you first started to use CVS. Yes that world is a reality, thanks to Subversion. This project has been out quite some time and many folks are already using it but the recent news is that the developers finally have tagged it 1.0. For more see the site itself and or the linked slashdot story (and beware of the slashdot affect on the site itself). Subversion 1.0 Released
