What does this say about our culture? 50 nukes missing around the world, some of them deliberately dumped, and even when they are known to be emitting harmful radiation we just elect to leave them where they are and hold Olympic yachting events above them.

I had heard of the Georgia coast missing nuke before, but did not realize that the story was a deliberate dumping of the weapon after an air scrape and repeated attempts to land with it failed or were judged to dangerous. Then after it was dumped it was never found.
