Amazon search "a9" a big "Google rival"?

I have seen a ton of articles lately about a9 which is Amazons new "search engine". Its amazing how many articles call this a "Google rival" or even a "Google killer". It seems that some articles do recognize that a9 is POWERED BY GOOGLE, but still call it a "Google search rival". (Google search rival.) Other articles that arent of the "Google killer" variety are concerned about privacy because of the search tracking features at a9. Seems everyone has something to complain about, and no one has a legitimate gripe. Anyway, its a9, its new, and its Google with IMDB and Amazons book search. (Really, there are tons of marketing things going on, but thats what it is, a javascripted up Google with IMDB and some book stuff.)

I tried using it 6 months ago and the UI sucked.
