Fedora Core 3 out

FC3 is out, has been out a month or so. Yeah I am late posting this notice but I just noticed FC3 myself (doh!).

Fedora Core 3 Available!

Fedora Core 3 is now available from Red Hat and at distinguished mirror sites near you, and is also available in the torrent. Fedora Core has expanded in this release to four binary ISO images and four source ISO images, and is available for both x86-64 and i386. Please file bugs via Bugzilla, Product Fedora Core, Version 3, so that they are noticed and appropriately classified. Discuss this release on fedora-list.

Main new stuff:
* GCC 3.4
* GNOME 2.8
* KDE 3.3

Of note is that they have moved FC1 to the Fedora Legacy project as well.

I'll be downloading this one and trying to updgrade a box this over the holidays. Should anything too traumatic occur, I'll complain loudly in this oh-so-sympathetic forum.

i just installed fc3, almost the same as redhat, just more features, and a lot cooler, but it also comes with xfce, so i dont know if thats new, but its the first time ive used it on a non-live-run. i was impressed, but it reminded me to much of red hat. im currently installing slackware now
