Its official the Mozilla foundation and Firefox are encroaching on the long held solid Internet Explorer browser lead. This is significant not just because Moz/Fox is a better browser and users get many new and very helpful features (better control such as specific javascript controls, better features such as tabbed browsing, and new items such as live bookmarks) but because it advances the understanding of web developers everywhere by forcing many to check into making sites that render properly in this browser.
The reason things are different in this browser is that it employs mysterious guidance tools for development called "standards".
Once browsers that adhere to W3C standards are more and more used by users site designers are forced to actually look into this phenomenon. Once that happens more and more sites start to adher and to these standards and the entire net just plain gets better (more user agents, stuff working all over, design to a STANDARD not a particular browser).
Props not just for a great browser, but for a motivator, to the Moz foundation (buy some t-shirts, guide books or "factory" cds and stuff for the holidays, support Moz). Firefox surpasses 10 million download mark
