The new iPod mini model, aka "shuffle" is getting some good press. The new model is flash memory powered rather than having a drive and is obviously aimed at competing with other small flash mp3 player models. Shuffle has 512MB and 1GB flavors. It has no display but does have lights indicating power status and the iPod circular "jog" interface thingy. The reviews say its a very capable player that works well with good sound, as advertised. They also do say its harder to navigate without a display (obviously) but thats sort of the point of the less frills and less expensive model. Check out more via the linked Yahoo! AP article. RE: iPod "shuffle" gets good reviews
Yeah, I hear the sound on the shuffle is better than pretty much any of the other fob players out there, and just shy of being the equal of the larger iPods.
