Bush "mending fences", yet "no power on Earth will ever divide us"

Oh well if no power will divide . . . then the fence is fine and you dont need to "mend" it, thanks anyway.

And not to stop there, because that aint my style, is it just me or is President Bush telling one country they need to "get out" of another country just some funny stuff (not to mention telling them not to have nuclear weapons, and no I dont think they should have nuclear weapons I just acknowledge that the people saying dont have them, have them)?

"Bush said peace is within reach in the Middle East, told Syria to get out of Lebanon and said Iran must not develop nuclear weapons".

Ok its not really funny, its sad, but you know what I mean.

[And the other day I heard Sec Rice state that it was ridiculous that N. Korea perceived any threat from the United States . . . Am I on a different planet? I mean sure I dont personally think the US is planning to attack N. Korea, but from the outside that has to sound insane. Sure the US is a threat, they keep saying N. Korea is bad and they keep testing missiles and they invade other nations that are LESS of a threat to them? And no thats not a "hate America" statement, its a reality statement saying I love America and America needs to get its ass back on track and deal with REAL THREATS, HONESTLY, so we dont end up in places such as this where the real threat is unchecked and more unstable than ever, we have no credibility in the world and have fences to "mend, and the make believe ideological threat is well . . . also more unstable than ever and now a REAL THREAT.]   Bush calls for 'new era in trans-Atlantic unity'

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The only reason we have not invaded N. Korea is we could not quickly take over (like Iraq). I have no doubts that if it was an easy target they would be next in line. So the lesson to be learned by evil small country dictators...get your weapons of mass destruction ready as fast as you can. If you can beat the invasion you can stop it before it starts.

I yeah well, it's the same way he can say "The state of our nation is strong" and "Social security is about to collapse", "we are under constant threat" and "we have to stop giving out food stamps to 300,000 people" in the same speech.

The overall message is always the same "You should be proud to be an American and be afraid... BEEE AFRAID!!!"
