Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

Its official, the first public high school in the nation to go all laptop, all wireless, all electronic and no textbooks is Vail High School, Vail AZ. Vail high resides in "the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park" and while being a public school chartered by the Vail School District it appears very forward thinking and progressive (naturally considering its locale) when it comes to technology. The school board appears to also have some insight and has sponsored the first all electronic program of its kind in the states to begin this school year. I think its a great idea and I say bravo, make it happen. (The costs will be more at first but over time the costs should level out and there are a multitude of benefits, so long as the kids dont do any "wardriving" in Florida ;).)
