Microsoft patents "excitement" for video playback

Microsoft has been on a patent filing spree as of late, and it looks like even America's favorite pastime isn't immune. A patent application dated to last Thursday seeks to describe a technological method to identify the "exciting" moments in a baseball game, among other things.

So they used baseball as an example, and excited crowd noises or announcer utterances as the "moments" of interest, but the patent is supposed to apply to any event (baseball is just that, an example). I wonder if this will apply to porn as well, and hmmm, how do you tell the "exciting" events during a long boring porn scene? ;)
