Sony jackass bags the XB360 and boasts about the PS3

Even if everything "Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Phil Harrison" said in his Rumsfeld complimentary style were accurate (Blue Ray and 1080p are the only real HD experience) I still wouldnt buy a PS3.

In fact I am seriously considering eBaying my PS2 because I am so disgusted at Sony (and will not ever but anymore games regardless) over just about everything they do lately. The want to control the player, the content, the memory, any interface, etc, and its just stupid (imagine the PSP without all the artifical Sony restrictions - that thing would be great).

And BTW, the X Box 360 was actually released as a real product recently, maybe that has something to do with the whole matter, when your product is not yet out you can proclaim all this great stuff it one day might do versus an existing product, brilliant.

I am no XBox fan either, just this whole critique by this Sony guy (yeah, the President) is wrong and imagine this, deceitful.

Go away please Sony.

Well I wish half-life 2 were multiplayer or even different scenarios, once your'e done you've sort of done it, with HL2 anyway.

Battlefield is good and yeah I should just switch back to PC games, but I dont really HAVE a "desktop" PC at all anymore.

I have the "media center" PC - running KnoppMyth (debian). So it has various Linux games that play on the TV - and I have a laptop with the ATI 128MB vid card but its just not enough for high end desktop games like battlefield 2 (it plays but it looks like ass). (This machine is my old desktop stuff Athlon 2500+ N7V8X ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 512MB ram - 51" Hitachi HDTV monitor - honestly though I dont use this machine much because I have yet to buy a real tv capture card for it - its cool to browse the web on the TV and have the music there and so on, but just dont use it that much - I think that would change if I would spring for a modern capture card and really use it as a DVR.)

Bottom line, guess I need a damn Desktop - and a Windows one at that - just for games. Though I would certainly get a better video card than you recommend, geesh.

;)
